Visitation and Hospital Access
at Hospital for Behavioral Medicine
Visitation Hours: 7 days a week
- Adult Units – Tuesday & Thursday 7p-8p; Saturday 2p-3p
- Adolescent Unit – Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 7p-8p; Sunday 2p-3p
Special arrangements for visiting outside of visiting hours can be arranged with your treatment team.
Hospital Access:
- All visitors enter through the front lobby.
- All visitors will be asked to provide an ID and contact information.
- All visitors personal items must be left in their car or locked up in the lobby upon arrival, including keys and phones.
- No outside food or drinks are allowed during visitation.
- Visit lengths are subject to space availability and are guaranteed at least 15 minutes with patient.
- The restrooms in the lobby are dedicated for visitor use.
- Belongings should be brought to the ambulance entrance and must be dropped off prior to visitation.
Conditions and Limitations of Visitation:
- Visitation is limited to 1 visitor per patient (unless accompanying a minor).
- Visitors 18 and under must be a child of a patient.
- Visits with minors will be facilitated in a dedicated space for that visit.
Special Considerations:
- Parents or guardians of patients who are under the age of 18 years old, companions for patients with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, and children of patients.
- Clergy
- Judges, attorneys, and independent medical examiners.
