Partial Hospitalization Program

At the Hospital for Behavioral Medicine, we offer patients an outpatient program with the goal of not interrupting their personal life or responsibilities to seek treatment. Our partial hospitalization program (or PHP for short) takes place Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (lunch is provided), and includes: group therapy, recreation therapy, and weekly consultation with a psychiatrist.

The Hospital for Behavioral Medicine does this as an option for continuation of inpatient treatment or to learn more about their symptoms and receive support from peers. Receiving inpatient treatment is not a requirement for joining our outpatient services. Our outpatient services may be helpful for patients who are in need of help due to depression, anxiety, self-injury behavior, or other issues needing immediate treatment.
