Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
The Hospital for Behavioral Medicine offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) available to men & women in need of mental health services who wish to continue their everyday lives as well. Our mental health care offered by mental health counselors provides treatment for those suffering from mental health disorders such as:
- Severe depression, such as postpartum depression, seasonal depression, as well as any other types of depression
- Bipolar disorder & bipolar mania
- Generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, as well as any underlying signs of anxiety
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Trauma from physical, emotional or psychological abuse
- Daytime Group Therapy – Monday through Friday from
9:00 am – 12:30 pm
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm- Group therapy topics focus on:
- Coping skills
- Emotional regulation
- Healthy behaviors
- Medications
- Relationship issues

Patients can access the intensive outpatient program even if he/she has not participated in the inpatient program at the Hospital for Behavioral Medicine.
